Coffee Ground Consistency

French Press Coarse

Drip Coffee Maker Medium to Fine

Espresso Machine Extra fine to Powder

For use in a French press or drip coffee maker the ratio of coffee to water is as follows*:

Coffee Water

30g 500 mL

4 tbsp ½ quart

¼ Cup ½ quart

Divisions of this recipe can be used to make more or less coffee.

**You should get about eighty 6 oz. cups from each 2.2lb bag of coffee.

Espresso Coffee

No conversion is needed. Simply fill your machine according to the manufacturer’s directions with the finest grind and go. **You should get about 133 espresso shots per 2.2lb bag of S&D koffie.

*Because of the variation in measuring devices the most recommended method to determine volume and weight is by using a kitchen scale that measures both. For these calculations we used a Salter Aquatronic^® kitchen scale.

**All measurements were based on coffee brewed in a Krups^® II Café Duomo coffee maker with a DeLonghi^® coffee mill coffee grinder model number DCG-4T.
