OUR POLICY
At SmitDorlasUSA.com, we only collect personally-identifiable information from individuals if they provide it to us knowingly and voluntarily. You can feel free to just browse through and learn about our incredible coffees without submitting any personal information.  As an unregistered visitor to our site, our technology recognize your home server (for example, that your access the web through Comcast.net), but not your e-mail address or any other personal or system information.

While browsing, if you’d like to order one of our products, we will need to receive personal information from you – including your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information.  The information you submit is downloaded off of the web server to a secure system and is maintained there. You will be given a registered account number that you may elect to use in the future. Changes to your information can only occur after a customer has logged in with their registered account number.

OUR CUSTOMER LIST
When you enroll in one of our programs or purchase one of our products, your name, address (including email address) and phone information are placed own our customer list. Occasionally we may share selected names and addresses from our customer list with other companies and/or services that provide fine quality goods or services via mail.  If you prefer us to not share this information with any other companies, please advise us via email or phone and we’ll be happy to keep your information to ourselves.  We will need to confirm your name and address to ensure this process.  If you’d like to receive these offers via one method and not another (for example, you would like to receive offers via email but not via telephone), please let us know and we will make sure to abide by your request!

CONTACT FROM US
We also use our Customer List to occasionally reach out to you directly, via phone or email. We may reach out to inform you of new products or services or programs, or even new partnerships that we think would be interesting to you. We may also reach out to you to check on your satisfaction with our products and our service. However, we recognize that some customers prefer not to be contacted by phone at all, and therefore we maintain our own “Do Not Call” List for customers who have informed us that they prefer not to be contacted via phone and/or email. If you would prefer to not be contacted for any follow-up, please let us know and we will gladly add your name to our “Do Not Call” list. We will do this for our telephone list, email list, or both. Just let us know and we’ll be happy to abide by your wishes.

Should you reach out to us via email, as many of our customers do, rest assured that we will do our very best to respond to you within 72 hours. Most of our customers receive a response back within 12 hours. We do read every email that comes our way, and will be happy to follow-up with you on any request and/or suggestion.

GUARANTEE
We guarantee that you will be 100% satisfied with your Smit & Dorlas products. If you are not satisfied, please return any unused portion within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Because coffee is a product that deteriorates over time and based on certain conditions, we cannot offer a refund for our food and beverage products after 30 days.

SHIPPING METHODS
All standard Smit & Dorlas USA orders are shipped via USPS.
Please allow up to 7 business days for standard delivery.

For faster delivery, you may choose to have your Smit & Dorlas products shipped via UPS or FexEx . Some shipments may not be available for next day delivery in certain areas. Please consult your selected expedited delivery service to make sure your area is not affected by any delivery area restrictions.

Shipments to Post Office Boxes are restricted and must be handled by the USPS.  The USPS prohibits shipments of coffee to certain APO/FPO addresses. Please consult the USPS web site for details and updated information regarding their policies.

All orders of in-stock merchandise are shipped the next business day. Expedited next day delivery orders of in-stock merchandise must be received by 1 PM Eastern Time in order to be shipped the same day.

Shipping charges are based on your method of delivery, and the weight of your order including packaging.

SUBSTITUTION
To ensure quality, some food items may be shipped separately. Some items in Gift Baskets may be substituted with similar items of equal value when necessary.

RECOMMENDED HOLIDAY ORDER DATES
We recommend placing an order no later than 7 business days before Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa to guarantee delivery in time for the Holiday.

SALES TAX
We are required to collect applicable sales tax on non-food items in those states with such laws. The proper calculation will be made during the billing and checkout process of any order.
